The purpose of this project is to replace the 81 year old truss bridge, over the Wolf River, with a new concrete girder span bridge that meets current design and safety standards. Other improvements include:

• Replacing the deteriorating pavement leading up to the bridge
• Replacing the guardrail
• Installing new pavement markings and signs
• Improving safety by removing the Old 55 Road connection to WIS 52
