This project will make roadway improvements along US 45 (Fond Du Lac Avenue) between westbound County H and westbound WIS 28 in the village of Kewaskum, Washington County.

Improvement Include:

• Resurfacing of roadway within project limits
• Curb and gutter improvements
• Sidewalk improvements
• Updated traffic signals
• New pavement markings and signing

Traffic Impacts:

One lane of southbound US 45 traffic will be maintained throughout construction for local traffic only. Detours will be posted for US 45 and WIS 20.

This project will be done in two stages.

Stage 1:

• Reconstruct the northbound lanes of US 45 (Fond Du Lac Avenue) within the project limits
  • Southbound traffic will be maintained for local traffic only

Stage 2:

• Reconstruct the southbound lanes of US 45 (Fond Du Lac Avenue) within the project limits
  • Southbound traffic will be maintained for local traffic only. Traffic will be shifted onto newly-constructed lanes.

Schedule:

Work is scheduled to being in early July and be completed by fall 2024.
