NOTE: This project is scheduled to begin after the adjacent WIS 38 bridge project is completed in fall 2025.

WisDOT will resurface approximately 0.37 miles of WIS 38, between Golf Avenue and Rapids Drive, in the city of Racine. Additional improvements include:

• Replace all curb ramps to meet ADA standards with the Northwestern Court intersection.

Schedule:

This project is scheduled to begin after the WIS 38 bridge construction project is completed in approximately mid-September. Resurfacing work is scheduled to take approximately five (5) weeks. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Traffic impacts:

WIS 38 will be closed to through traffic from Rapids Drive to Golf Avenue. Local access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

Traffic will be detoured along WIS 31 and County C to get around the closure.
