November 17 Update

The construction barrels along the 27th Street corridor have now been mostly removed, and all lanes are now fully open to traffic. While a few minor items remain, we expect these items to be completed by the Thanksgiving holiday. With that, the majority of our work on 27^th Street from College Avenue to Layton Avenue is now finished.

Upcoming minor work includes:

• Work in the left-turn lanes at the Parnell Avenue and Grange Avenue intersections
• Curb repairs at the northeast corner of the Layton Avenue intersection

These remaining activities are not expected to impact traffic on 27^th Street.

Please note:

• There is a current daily outside-lane closure on southbound S. 27th Street between the I-894 off-ramp and Layton Avenue;  this is due to utility work unrelated to this project.
• There is ongoing night work occurring at the 27th Street overpass at I-894, which is part of the I-894 Mitchell Interchange project and also separate from the 27th Street Corridor improvements.
