Weekly Updates
June 28 Update:
Work is ongoing in East Troy with road grading operations starting up. The area between County L and WIS 83 had work that included cross culverts installation and some new storm sewer by WIS 83. Next week will be a short week with the July 4th holiday work restrictions beginning on Wednesday. Things will pick back up the week of July 8th and the County ES north leg closure is still tentatively scheduled to begin on July 15th with more information coming the next few weeks.
WIS 20 (East Troy)
Traffic:
- Access to Bower’s Produce can be made by continuing east on WIS 20 from County L (East Troy)
- Access to Green Meadows can be made by going west on WIS 20 from WIS 83 (Waterford)
- The area in front of Scot Industries where traffic goes on the gravel will be maintained to try and keep two lanes of traffic. This issue is the existing WIS 20 only has room for one lane, so we are trying to make that as useful as possible.
This Week:
- Completed storm sewer installation
- Completed crushing the old concrete road to be re-used as a foundation layer
- Begin roadway excavation
Next Week:
- Continue roadway excavation if weather and crew availability exists.
- Holiday work restrictions begin on Wednesday.
Long Term (2+weeks out)
- The north leg of County ES 21-day closure is tentatively scheduled to begin around July 15th. As we get closer to the 4th of July, I will firm up that schedule more.
- Begin work near the new retaining wall at the Walworth/Racine County Line
WIS 20 – County L to WIS 83 (Waterford)

- Access to Witte Landscaping can be made by going west on WIS 20 from WIS 83 (Waterford)

- Begin Storm Sewer installation by WIS 83
Next Week:
- Complete the saw cut operations
- Complete storm sewer by WIS 83.
