The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will resume work along WIS 20 in early May, from 90th Street to Oakes Road. The project is scheduled to be completed by early summer. In 2024, the project resurfaced approximately 1 mile of WIS 20, from 90th Street to Oakes Road. In 2025, the following work will be completed:

• Bridge girder painting on the bridges over the Union Pacific Railroad
• Guardrail transition upgrades at the bridges over Willow Road and the Union Pacific Railroad.

Traffic Impacts and Detours

• Long term single lane closures of WIS 20 from 90th Street to Oakes Road will be scheduled from early spring to late spring to allow for work to be completed.
• Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.
