This project will resurface WIS 190 (Capitol Drive) from WIS 16 to just west of Five Fields Road in the Village and City of Pewaukee, in Waukesha County.

Project Improvements

• Replace concrete pavement from WIS 16 to the Forest Grove Drive and George Towne Drive intersection.
• Resurface the asphalt pavement for remainder of project limits.
• Add traffic signals to improve WIS 16 westbound off-ramp intersection.
• Replace traffic signals at five (5) existing intersections within the project limits.
• Upgrade sidewalk curb ramps to meet current ADA standards.

Traffic Impacts

• WIS 190 (Capitol Drive) will remain open to a single lane in each direction during construction.
• Long term ramp closures at WIS 16 are anticipated.
• Access to local businesses and residents will be maintained.

Schedule

Work will begin in late February, and is scheduled for completion in fall 2024.
