Project Details:

This project is complete. Crews made improvements to approximately 4.3 miles of US 18 (Sunset Drive) in Waukesha County, from WIS 67 in Dousman to the Waukesha/Jefferson county line in Oconomowoc. Three bridges along US 18 over the Bark River were also replaced as part of the project.

US 18 bridge improvements made:

• Bark River bridge replaced west of Gramling Lane
• Bark River bridge replaced east of S. Utica Road
• Bark River bridge replaced west of WIS 67

Additional improvements made:

• Pavement resurfaced along the project limits
  • Asphalt pavement patching
  • Milling and Asphalt resurfacing
• Guardrail repaired
• Installation of new pavement markings, rumble strips, and signing
• Deck replaced on eastbound WIS 59 bridge over Fox River
