Overview:

The WIS 83 project will improve approximately 4 miles of roadway between WIS 167 and Monroe Avenue in Washington County. Improvement include:

• Box Culvert construction
• Retaining wall replacement
• Pavement base patching
• Asphaltic milling and resurfacing
• Guardrail replacement
• Drainage structure adjustments
• Curb ramp improvements

2024 Traffic Impacts/Detours:

• WIS 83 will be closed to through traffic and detoured between WIS 167 and Monroe Avenue
• Side road access will be maintained across WIS 83
• Local access will be maintained—drivers with destinations in the closure should access their destination from the nearest cross road if possible.

Detours will be posted—WIS 167 to County K to WIS 60
