This project will make various improvements to approximately 2.1 miles of WIS 164, between Henneberry Avenue and Denoon Road, in Waukesha County.

Improvements Include:

• New asphalt pavement
• New aggregate base
• New pavement markings
• Improve the subgrade in select locations
• Widens paved shoulders from 3 feet to 5 feet
• Add rumble strips along centerline and both shoulders
• Replace select cross culverts
• Replace guardrail to meet current standards

Traffic Impacts:

WIS 164, within the project limits (Henneberry Avenue to Denoon Road), will be closed to through traffic during construction.

Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.

Detour:

A posted detour will utilize WIS 36, WIS 83, and I-43

Schedule:

Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-March 2025 and be completed by late summer. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
