This project will make improvements to approximately three (3) miles of WIS 100 between 60th Street and St. Martins Road in Milwaukee County.

Improvements include:

• Replace pavement along WIS 100 from the Root River to Puetz Road.
• Resurface WIS 100 from Puetz Road to St. Martins Road, including the WIS 100 and WIS 36 (Loomis Road) intersection
• Reconstruction of the 76th Street and WIS 100 intersection.
• Replace traffic signals at 60th Street, 76th Street, and WIS 36 (Loomis Road)
• Construction of new multi-use path along the north/east side of WIS 100, between the Root River and WIS 36 (Loomis Road).

Traffic impact:

WIS 100 will be closed to through traffic from 60th Street to WIS 36 (Loomis Road) during the reconstruct and pavement replacement portions of the project.

• A detour will be posted utilizing 27th Street (WIS 241), Rawson Avenue (County BB), and Loomis Road (WIS 36).

Single lane closures on WIS 100 and WIS 36 will take place during the resurfacing portion of the project from Puetz Road to St. Martins Road.

Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.

Schedule:

Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2025 and be completed by late fall 2025.
