This project will make improvements to approximately 4.5 miles of WIS 100, from Shepard Avenue to WIS 32 in Milwaukee County.

Improvements include:

• Resurface pavement by milling the existing asphalt and overlay with new asphalt.
• Traffic signal improvements at Nicholson Road.
• Replace eastbound bridge deck over railroad and repaint structural elements.
• Reseal westbound bridge deck over railroad.

Traffic impact and detours:

• WIS 100 will be closed in both directions from Shepard Avenue to WIS 32 for 30 calendar days from approximately September to October 2024.
  • A detour will be posted utilizing 6 Mile Road (WIS 38 / County G / WIS 31 / WIS 32)
• Traffic will be able to cross WIS 100 at all cross streets
• Access to local residences and businesses directly on WIS 100 will be maintained. Those traveling to nearby neighborhoods must utilize the detour or find an alternate route.
