Work began April 11th on the rehabilitation of the WIS 100 bridges over the Hank Aaron State Trail.
On April 11th, the median lane both northbound and southbound on WIS 100 was closed from just north of Theo Trecker Way to I-94. Median removal and building of crossovers is expected to last about 2 weeks. Once the crossovers are complete, traffic will be shifted so that two northbound and two southbound lanes of traffic will be on the northbound side of WIS 100. When that switch occurs, the I-94 eastbound exit ramp to WIS 100 southbound will close (the left turn to WIS 100 northbound will remain open).
Motorists may exit I-94 eastbound at Moorland Road and take Moorland Road to Greenfield Avenue to WIS 100 to get around this closure.
The bridge rehabilitation is scheduled to be complete in late August.
