{"id":5,"date":"2026-03-03T17:25:50","date_gmt":"2026-03-03T23:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us45waupaca\/schedule\/"},"modified":"2026-06-19T12:03:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T17:03:07","slug":"schedule","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us45waupaca\/schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Schedule and Traffic Impact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Page last updated: <\/strong>June 19, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: <\/strong>March 30, 2026 to November 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anticipated work scheduled: <\/strong>Crews will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue to grade the eastbound WIS 54 lanes.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to pave the asphalt surface lift for the remainder of US 45 from Church Road to the roundabout, the WIS 54\/US 45 Ramps, and the south end of the project from the County D intersection to the southern project limits.<\/li>\n<li>Continue placing the shoulder gravel for US 45 from Spurr Road to Church Road, and the WIS 54\/US 45 Ramps<\/li>\n<li>Finish paving, shouldering and pavement marking US 45 southern section to reopen the County D (South) intersection to complete the 10-day closure.<\/li>\n<li>Pave the lower lift of asphalt for the WIS 54 eastbound lane.<\/li>\n<li>Begin the installation of new guardrail for the US 45 structures.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to install the permanent grooved epoxy pavement markings following the shouldering operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Traffic impacts (the next 10 days):\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WIS 54 is reduced to one lane in each direction from Jeanne Street to House Road. Both eastbound and westbound<\/li>\n<li>WIS 54 traffic is shifted to the north half of the roadway from N. Shawano Drive to House Road.<\/li>\n<li>US 45 is closed to through traffic and is detoured for approximately four months through July 2026. Traffic is detoured via US 10 and WIS 22. Access to residents, businesses and emergency vehicles will be maintained during construction.<\/li>\n<li>Access to County D at the south limits is closed for 10 days, reopening as early as June 21.<\/li>\n<li>Access to Church Road at the north limits will remain open to traffic as the closure is just south of that intersection of Church Road and US 45.<\/li>\n<li>The intersection of US 45 and County D (south) near New London is closed and is scheduled to be reopened by June 21. The schedule is dependent on weather conditions and construction progress.
