{"id":12,"date":"2026-07-06T12:34:16","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T17:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us14-rockcounty\/full-project-overview\/"},"modified":"2026-07-06T13:14:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T18:14:18","slug":"full-project-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us14-rockcounty\/full-project-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following needs have been identified for this section of US 14:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deficiencies in existing pavement due to aging, rutting and cracking.<\/li>\n<li>Safety issues at US 14 intersections with Holt Road, WIS 59, W Butts Corners Road, and W Bullard Road.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Improvements include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resurface existing roadway.<\/li>\n<li>Widen paved shoulders from 3\u2019 to 5\u2019 along the corridor.<\/li>\n<li>Turn lanes for both Northbound and Southbound on US 14 at Holt Road along with improved intersection geometry for Holt Road.<\/li>\n<li>High Friction Surface on US 14 at the WIS 59 intersection.<\/li>\n<li>A reconstruction of the W Butts Road intersection.
