{"id":9,"date":"2024-05-29T12:26:09","date_gmt":"2024-05-29T17:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us12jc\/closures\/"},"modified":"2026-07-02T18:57:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T23:57:18","slug":"trafficimpacts","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/us12dc\/trafficimpacts\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic Impacts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Motorists will encounter single-lane closures controlled by flagging operations from Elk Mound through Colfax.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Construction activities will cease by noon today, and there will be no lane restrictions during the holiday weekend.<\/li>\n<li>Single-lane closures resume Monday, July 6.<\/li>\n<li>Starting Tuesday, July 7, the bridge carrying US 12 over WIS 29 northwest of Elk Mound will be closed for the replacement of concrete approach slabs.\n<ul>\n<li>The interchange ramps will remain open.<\/li>\n<li>Traffic will be detoured via County H and County HH.<\/li>\n<li>The closure is anticipated to be in place through July 20.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>From July 20-25, WIS 40 will be closed south of 855<sup>th<\/sup> Street south of Colfax for culvert pipe replacement.\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Traffic will be detoured via WIS 29, I-94, WIS 25 and WIS 170.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Currently anticipated to occur in August, WIS 40 is expected to be closed for a week for a railroad crossing replacement in Colfax.\n<ul>\n<li>Traffic will be detoured via 5<sup>th<\/sup> Avenue, Dunn Street and Railroad Avenue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Motorists will encounter single-lane closures controlled by flagging operations from Elk Mound through Colfax.
