This segment includes reconstruction of the mainline pavement on I-94, adding a fourth lane in both directions and rebuilding all existing bridges over local roads and the County K interchange.

Wisconsin communities across the state are already engaging in the economic rewards of the investment advancing the I-94 North-South project to support this thriving corridor as multiple businesses like Amazon, ULINE, Haribo and others are joining the Wisconsin Valley Science and Technology Park locating or expanding in this region.

Shippers and manufacturers already move over $90 billion in goods along this corridor every year. We’re accelerating road construction work to ensure the freeway continues to support the rapid growth that is occurring across the corridor. Currently, construction contractors in Dodge, Jackson, Marathon, Outagamie and Wood counties, to name a few, have already received contracts during this construction phase. The I-94 North-South project will be the fastest mega project in WisDOT history.
