The project includes construction of\u00a0additional lanes between WIS 35 North and US 12\/County U interchanges and additional\u00a0lanes on the ramps at the\u00a0WIS 35 South interchange.<\/p>\n<p>The project also includes replacement of the bridge decks of the I-94 structures over WIS 35 North and Front Street and the construction of an emergency crossover near the St. Croix River on I-94.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0noise analysis was performed during preliminary design to determine the feasibility of noise abatement. Two noise barriers will be built with this project. More information about the analysis and location of noise barriers can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/i94hudson\/faq\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5>Why is the project needed?<\/h5>\n<p>The project is intended to\u00a0reduce congestion\u00a0and provide efficient and safe\u00a0access to I-94.
