{"id":12,"date":"2026-01-14T13:25:19","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T19:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/57slope\/full-project-overview\/"},"modified":"2026-07-21T13:46:44","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T18:46:44","slug":"full-project-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/57slope\/full-project-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This WisDOT project will stabilize the slope along the east side of WIS 57 in Ozaukee County, approximately 0.2 miles south of County K.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Improvements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install vertical rigid elements (miniature pilings driven into the embankment to strengthen the slope)<\/li>\n<li>Culvert replacement<\/li>\n<li>Concrete pavement replacement<\/li>\n<li>Grading and storm sewer work<\/li>\n<li>Restoration and new pavement markings<\/li>\n<li>New pavement markings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Traffic Impacts:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project will be completed in two stages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stage 1: Northbound WIS 57 will be closed for culvert replacement\n<ul>\n<li>This closure is anticipated to last approximately one week. Northbound WIS 57 detours will be posted during closure.
