The project length is approximately 1.5 miles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wisconsindot.gov\/Documents\/projects\/by-region\/ne\/57BaileysHarbor\/LocationMap2.pdf\">View project location on a map<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/57bridges\/map\/\">View location on interactive map<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project improvements<\/strong><br \/>\nConstruction elements for this project include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mill and overlay the existing asphaltic pavement travel lanes and parking lanes<\/li>\n<li>Replace isolated portions of curb and gutter<\/li>\n<li>Add pedestrian cross walk locations<\/li>\n<li>Replace and upgrade sidewalk curb ramps to ADA standards<\/li>\n<li>Replace the following culverts located under WIS 57:\n<ul>\n<li>250\u2019 north of Frogtown Road<\/li>\n<li>250\u2019 north of Ridges Road<\/li>\n<li>400\u2019 north of Ridges Road<\/li>\n<li>900\u2019 south of the County Q (south)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Remove and upgrade guardrail at Frogtown Road<\/li>\n<li>New pavement markings\n<ul>\n<li>The pavement marking of the parking stalls will be performed separately by the town of Baileys Harbor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please review the below displays for more information.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wisconsindot.gov\/Documents\/projects\/by-region\/ne\/57BaileysHarbor\/aerial2.pdf\">View project design display<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/57dcresurface\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1386\/TypicalSections_41501471.pdf\">View typical roadway cross sections display (pdf)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Schedule (CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This is a 55 working day contract, which equates to approximately three to four months of work.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Please check back on this website for any future updates to contractor schedule of operations.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Traffic impacts (OPEN)<\/strong><br \/>\nWIS 57 will remain open to traffic throughout construction.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motorists should expect lane closures and flagging operations in the work zone.\n<ul>\n<li>Please pay attention to all signage and directions when driving in the work zone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Park Road will be closed at the WIS 57 intersection while work in that area is completed.\n<ul>\n<li>There will be no detour provided.<\/li>\n<li>Local and emergency access will be maintained to properties at all times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In This Together program for businesses<\/strong><br \/>\nWisDOT recognizes businesses located in work zones have special needs. It&#8217;s critical that customers have access to businesses and that they continue to visit them, regardless of any road work inconvenience. WisDOT&#8217;s In This Together program is offered to business and community leaders as an idea source as they plan for road construction in their area.
