Project location

I-41/US 45 mainline and ramps near Main Street, village of Menomonee Falls, in Waukesha County

Improvements

The project centers around replacing a small bridge on both the I-41/US 45 southbound entrance ramp and on the I-41/US 45 mainline. Associated work will involve replacement of storm sewer, concrete barrier and beam guard, along with new lighting, signing and pavement marking.

Traffic impacts

  • The southbound I-41/US 45 exit and entrance ramps to/from Main Street and the northbound I-41/US 45 exit ramp to eastbound Main Street are OPEN. These ramps will remain open until the next phase of the project beginning in spring 2018.
  • No lane closures will be scheduled during peak times
