I-41 Resurfacing: Menomonee Falls

Location

Resurfacing 3.7-miles of I-41 near the village of Menomonee Falls – Waukesha County

  • From the Milwaukee County Line (WIS 145/124th Street) to the Washington County Line (County Q/County Line Road)

Schedule

Late March to late fall

What to Expect

  • During Stage 1 through Stage 4, traffic will be open to 3 lanes of traffic during peak hours, open to 2 lanes of traffic during non-peak daytime hours, and open to 1 lane of traffic during non-peak nighttime hours.
  • During Stage 2 and Stage 4, there will be overnight ramp closures at the WIS 145/124th Street, WIS 100/Main Street, County YY/Pilgrim Road, and County Q/County Line Road Interchanges.
  • During Stage 5, I-41 will be open to 3 lanes of traffic and traffic will be shifted from the existing travel lanes and reduced in width for construction.
  • The I-41 southbound ramps at Pilgrim Road and Main Street will require closures for approximately two weeks for roadway shoulder work.
  • Work will also take place along to median to replace lighting fixtures
