{"id":12,"date":"2026-01-14T13:15:45","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T19:15:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/31stateline\/full-project-overview\/"},"modified":"2026-05-19T15:38:52","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T20:38:52","slug":"full-project-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/31stateline\/full-project-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is making improvements to approximately 4.8 miles of WIS 31 (Green Bay Road) between the Illinois State Line and WIS 50 in Kenosha County.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Improvements Include:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Concrete base patching<\/li>\n<li>Concrete joint repairs<\/li>\n<li>Asphalt shoulder milling and paving<\/li>\n<li>Diamond grind the roadway surface to extend its service life<\/li>\n<li>Spot concrete pavement repairs<\/li>\n<li>Pavement markings and signing<\/li>\n<li>Traffic signal loop upgrades<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Traffic Impacts and Detours:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This project will require long-term lane closures within the project limits.
