{"id":12,"date":"2026-06-26T12:09:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T17:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/164resurfacing\/full-project-overview\/"},"modified":"2026-07-16T15:45:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T20:45:21","slug":"full-project-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/164resurfacing\/full-project-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This WisDOT project will resurface and make various improvements to approximately four (4) miles of WIS 164, from Swan Road in Pewaukee to and VV (Main Street) in Sussex.<\/p>\n<h3>Improvements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mill and resurface the existing pavement with two layers of new asphalt.<\/li>\n<li>Update curb ramps to meet Americas with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.<\/li>\n<li>Replace signals at Swan Road, Lisbon Road, and Silver Spring Drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Traffic Impacts:<\/h3>\n<p>WIS 164 will remain open to one lane of traffic in both directions.<\/p>\n<p>Short-term closures are anticipated at major intersections for resurfacing work.<\/p>\n<p>Short-term side road closures during paving operations<\/p>\n<p>Access to local businesses and residences will be maintained.<\/p>\n<h3>Schedule:<\/h3>\n<p>This project will be completed in two segments.
