{"id":12,"date":"2026-01-14T13:26:23","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T19:26:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/145intersection\/full-project-overview\/"},"modified":"2026-05-15T08:41:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-15T13:41:53","slug":"full-project-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/145intersection\/full-project-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This WisDOT project will construct a new roundabout at the intersection of WIS 145 and County G (Division Road) in Washington County.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Improvements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WisDOT will construct a new roundabout that will eliminate the existing skew of the intersection and help improve safety by reducing the potential for severe crashes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/145intersection\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1471\/roundabout.pdf\">View roundabout<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This project also includes new lighting, signing, and pavement markings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Traffic Impacts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The WIS 145 and County G (Division Road) intersection will be closed during construction. A detour will be posted utilizing WIS 167, I-41, and US 45. <em>See map tab for detour map.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Local access to businesses and residences will be maintained.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-June and be completed by fall 2026. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This project is part of WisDOT&#8217;s Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). This program funds projects that promote the reduction of traffic fatalities and serious injuries.
