Website for reference only. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WisDOT is improving 2.6 miles of US 141 between County MM (Ledgeview) and Continental Drive (Bellevue), Brown County, Wisconsin. US 141 runs concurrently with WIS 29 and Main Avenue.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/141bellevue\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1454\/us141map.pdf\">View location of project on a map<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project improvements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a resurfacing level project. This provides a smoother ride while extending pavement life and reducing future maintenance costs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Improved drainage:\u00a0 <\/strong>Culvert repairs will restore proper stormwater conveyance, minimizing standing water, reducing hydroplaning risk, and helping protect the new pavement from freeze-thaw damage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enhanced roadside safety:<\/strong> Beam guard replacements will offer a higher-performing barrier system to better contain and redirect vehicles. Motorists may encounter brief delays during flagging operations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>During construction at the Allouez roundabout, <strong>a short-term closure\/detour of the US 141\/Allouez Avenue roundabout will occur.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday morning, September 11 and reopen on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 (Tentative based on utility work completion).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The detour directs traffic to use County JJ, I-43, and County MM.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/projects.511wi.gov\/141bellevue\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1454\/141detour.pdf\">View US 141 detour route on a map<\/a> (pdf)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Temporary business signing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Temporary business signing may be placed by filling out a WisDOT business signing permit. All temporary business signing needs approval via the permit before placement to ensure it is in a safe location and does not pose a visual distraction or traffic hazard. The temporary business signing permit is free.
